Go Electric

Efficiency

    • Electric boilers are 99.9% efficient.
    • The first & only electric boiler in UK with A rating for heating and hot water.
    • Our boilers modulate; therefore the boiler can run on as little as 2kW. You can spend on average 30pence per hour for your heating and hot water*.

Economic

    • Gas meter standing charges are eliminated.
    • No yearly servicing.
    • Can be integrated with Solar PV panels, therefore you can generate your own energy whilst improving carbon footprint of property.
    • No gas valve, air pressure switch, ignition pcb’s, electrodes, burners which saves the user money.
    • Fewer and affordable parts

Safety

    • Gas safe certificates are eliminated.
    • Does not produce CO or condensate.
    • CO detectors not required.
    • Has an inbuilt function where domestic water is heated up to 65ºC to eliminate Legionella bacteria in order to meet “The new Legionella Laws for landlords and letting agents”.

Practicality

    • No flue is required, therefore installation is not limited to the outside wall, or the need for hiring scaffolding for installation of flues on higher levels.
    • Can be fitted anywhere as they are completely silent.
    • Easy fault finding.
    • Can be mounted on any wall, does not require external wall.
    • No gas pipe means for much easier installation.

1. Gas Disconnection

Our gas safe team can decommission your gas line; blank off the gas meter isolating the gas installation from the street and will mark the gas meter as not in use following regulations. Your gas supplier could then be contacted for the meter to be removed and stop any gas charges in the future.

3. System Conversion

A team of gas safe heating engineers can decommission your current gas boiler and will carry out the installation of your new electric heating system. We usually advise  to replace radiator valves.  This will help with the chemical power flush and will guarantee no radiator valve leaking.

2. Gas Certificate

After isolating the gas meter, our gas safe team would provide a property owner with a gas safety certificate showing that the installation has been disconnected and the meter has been blanked off.

4. Electric Installation & Certificate

A qualified electrician can conduct a survey to confirm that your installation is suitable for the new electric boiler capacity.  He would also provide a report and cost analysis if the installation needs to be upgraded. If the installation is suitable, a direct power line will be set up from your main fuse box to the boiler location.

The installation would be tested by a qualified electrician after completion and an electric certificate could  be provided if required for your records.
